Fast Recap Game Of Thrones First Of His Name Season 4 Episode 5
Everyone in" Game of Thrones" is after power, whether it's over an entire continent our simply over their own lives, and "First of His Name" asks the question: Once you have power, what do you do with it? If you're Daenerys, maybe you take a moment to think about what that power is really worth. She's conquered all of Slaver's Bay, yes, and now arguably has the resources to make a grab for the Iron Throne. But as she astutely points out, winning isn't the same as ruling; so she decides to try her hand at the latter before she heads to Westeros. "Why should anyone trust me? Why should anyone follow me?" she says. Good questions, and ones that, say, the Lannisters would never think to ask themselves.

For the first time since we've seen him, Prince Oberyn was writing poetry instead of presiding over an orgy.

And up in the Seven Kingdoms, in the wake of child-king Tommen's coronation, others are trying to figure out what to do with what they can control. We've got two pairs of reluctant allies-Cersei/Margaery and Arya/The Hound-who are each primed to go at each other's throats, but at a stalemate for now. And with loyal, bumbling Podrick Payne as her squire, Brienne has power over someone else for what may be the first time in her life but no idea what do with that power. And then of course, there's Littlefinger, who knows exactly how to work his connections-but more on that later.

THE RUNDOWN

LOCATIONS VISITED: 6. In King's Landing, Cersei worked her angles leading up to Tyrion's murder trial, and Tywin dropped the bomb that the famously moneyed Lannisters are deep in debt; in Meereen, Dany consulted with her cabinet of bros and decided to stick around to try out this whole being-queen thing; in the Riverlands, Arya practiced swordplay and got a harsh life lesson from the Hound; Littlefinger and Sansa arrived in the Vale, home of the deeply screwed up Lysa Arryn and her creepy son; on the road to find aforementioned Stark teenager, Podrick burned a rabbit and Brienne blustered; and in Craster's Keep, Karl and his band of creeps finally got what was coming to them, and Bran loathsome mutineer Karl, when Jon stabs him through his entire head; and about 15 Night's Watchmen, following what amounted to a very tiny civil war.

SWORDFIGHTS: 3. Arya with a sword and the Hound with one brutal slap; the Night's Watch versus, er... the Night's Watch; and Jon and Karl, in a vicious standoff that included a kitchen-knife cameo from one of Craster's wives.

BOOBS: 0. But that's probably because for the first time since we've seen him, Prince Oberyn was writing poetry instead of presiding over an orgy.

MOMENT OF BADASS: Craster's daughter-wives have had it up to here with men, and we don't blame them. Following Jon Snow ">Dany, not really having the pickup line of the week

PICKUP LINE OF THE WEEK: When Dany asks sexy sellsword Daario why he went ahead and conquered a whole navy without her permission, he remarks, "I heard you liked ships."

WHAT WE LIKED: This episode, which comes at the midpoint of the season, really took a moment to step back from all the plot flotsam and just breathe. We got to see lots of emotionally resonant exchanges and callbacks to earlier points in the story that brought us to where we are now. And we're haunted by Cersei's devastating response to Oberyn, when he promises that they don't hurt little girls in Dorne: "Everywhere in the world they hurt little girls."

WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE: Two things we really want to happen-a Stark reunion (any Stark reunion) and Dany finally conquering Westeros-were delayed indefinitely. We kind of figured they would be, but still, it would be nice to get at least a little catharsis now and again. We get why Dany wanted to stay in Essos, but come on, Bran. Say hi to your brother, just for a second. Do it for us. Pleeease? (Also, can we get Tyrion out of that prison cell already? We really miss hanging out with him.)

GIANT PLOT REVEAL OF THE WEEK: Lysa "Crazy Eyes" Arryn is the one that set the entire plot of the series in motion. The reason Ned Stark (R.I.P.) agreed to be King Robert's (R.I.P.) Hand in the first place is because the previous Hand, Jon Arryn (R.I.P.), was poisoned, and his widow, Lysa, sent a letter to her sister, Catelyn Stark (R.I.P.), claiming that she suspected the Lannisters. But guess what? It was actually Lysa herself who did her husband in, at Littlefinger's behest! If she hadn't, the Starks never would have left Winterfell (R.I.P.), and Game of Thrones would have all turned out very, very differently-and probably would have had a lot less R.I.P.s in it.

"We need to reinforce an app that just shuts their plea absolutely down and they can't uniform use it," creator Sharon Standifird told ABC's Houston-owned center KTRK-TV. "I got on the internet and I reasonably just started researching how to reinforce an app."

A attractive carrying out of ability, to be upbeat -- I can attentively use some apps, let gone reinforce a narrow one from characteristic. Spectacle, yes, but is it praiseworthy, or uniform acceptable?

Superficially, the person on the cocktail party end of the app has to by some means admit to having it installed on their plea. In the skin of teenagers, that's not a big engage -- the parents are spontaneous paying for the cell plea in the first place, meaning that as knowingly as we taste ignoring our parents as teens, trying titties. Don't want mom and dad putting you on a digital leash? No problem, just give up that free cell plea of yours and all the make that comes with it.

It's not knowingly of a jog, though, to see how this may possibly be abused by the favoritism kind of people in adult relationships. If you ask your partner or girlfriend's plea password, there's not knowingly stopping you from becoming a austere nag, or uniform subordinate.

Teenage Single Mothers A Problem

Teenage Single Mothers A Problem Image
A former Government minister has spoken out about Britain's 'national catastrophe' - its 'army' of teenage mothers living on benefits. Writing on his internet blog, Tom Harris MP also accused the Government of lacking moral leadership.

Mr Harris anticipated his readers' shock at a Labour MP speaking so forthrightly on a topic considered largely taboo within the party. 'But', he wrote, 'I can no longer pretend that the army of teenage mothers living off the state is anything other than a national catastrophe.'

The Glasgow South MP identified a lack of moral leadership from the Government as the key reason why so many young girls get pregnant and succumb to benefit dependency, very often following the example set in their own families.

Mr Harris said that effective Government policies were needed, but that 'policies are one thing; winning the argument about why they're needed is another. And we have to start by making it clear what we believe is right and wrong. How can we expect parents to teach that to their kids if our political leaders aren't prepared to say the same?'

He also wrote: 'There is right and wrong and it is wrong for anyone to choose to have a child without knowing what's involved in its upbringing, without being prepared to sacrifice your own lifestyle for it.'

He continued: 'People shouldn't be ashamed of their circumstances, but neither should we avoid making value judgments about others' choices, especially when those choices result in a greater burden on the state, and lead to the continuation of the underclass. Teenage girls shouldn't be having underage sex. Why? Because it's wrong.

'Teenage girls shouldn't choose to have babies as an alternative to getting an education and a career. Why? Because it's wrong.

'Parents shouldn't teach their children that a lifetime on benefits is attractive or even acceptable. Why? Because it's wrong.

'(Please assume all the usual caveats: some people have no choice but to claim benefits, lots of single parents do a great job, etc.)'

Aware of the criticism he would face from liberal commentators and some in his own party, Mr Harris wrote: 'Being accused of accepting the current appalling state of affairs, of pretending that the concepts of right and wrong are meaningless - that is far worse than being accused of pandering to the right.'

Mr Harris's comments attracted support from some of his party's political opponents, including Conservative MP Iain Duncan Smith. Well known for his extensive research into the causes of Britain's 'broken society', Mr Duncan Smith said: 'We are into the third and fourth generation of lone teenage mothers and the Government has done nothing to end it because they refuse to say whether this is right or wrong.'

Recent figures showing an increase in teenage conceptions prompted Children's Minister Beverley Hughes to speak out about young people's need for moral guidance.

She said: 'This is not just about the mechanics of sex, it is about relationships, moral values and about making clear what is right and wrong and what you expect from young people, but it is doing that in a way that enables them to take part in the dialogue.'

And many social commentators greeted Gordon Brown's recent call for a return to 'traditional' financial policies with a demand for traditional social policies as well.

Columnist Janet Daley wrote of 'the great cultural shift' embodied by the Labour Government, a shift which included 'the celebration of personal fulfilment and self-realisation at any cost.' She said this was the case 'even if that involved breaking up a marriage or having a child outside a stable family'.

But Mr Harris insisted that he was not initiating a 'back to basics' crusade: 'I'm not sounding the rallying cry for Christian or religious morality. But when the actions of others has such a debilitating effect on the rest of society, it's time to stop being polite.

'It's time to stop worrying about how people's feelings might be hurt if we question the choices they've made. Because very often, those choices are wrong. And it's about time we said so.'

How To Approach Woman 3 Effective Ways

How To Approach Woman 3 Effective Ways Image
You can say that approaching women is something you do spontaneous and without structure. But in my opinion it is better to point out a few important factors that determine successful approach from an unsuccessful one. It's not important where you meet the girl. It can be in a grocery store, in a bar, restaurant, work. Important thing is that you approach her in the right manner. Most people think that only the verbal part of approach matters, they are dead wrong..

The first thing about approaching is that you should look at woman in a complimenting way. In a way that is showing to her that you are adoring her beauty. Don't ever stare at a woman. Just softly gaze into her eyes. After that comes the talking part. After your introductory line you should find out more about her. Yes, ask her the all usual dumb questions. I don't know why, but women love answering them. And that is a great thing for us guys.

When you are done with dumb interview-like questions ask her some deeper questions about herself. Direct the conversation towards her feeling and emotions, towards her likes and dislikes. Ask her about her favourite moments, memories.. If you have gotten this far into conversation, things should handle themselves. Just continue talking and later ask her when the two of you could meet for a drink.

Well that's it, if you follow these simple steps approaching women should be no problem for you. Just be confident about yourself and your masculinity and you are definitely on the right track.

How To Sweet Talk A Girl And Make Her Feel Special Image
Since women nowadays are more liberated and wanted to be treated equally; some guys hesitate on displaying chivalrous acts and does not even bother to learn on HOW TO SWEET TALK A GIRL. However, this should not be the case because there are still a good number of girls who would go for a romantic guy. Girls still want to be romanced and hear sweet talks being whispered in their ears.

They say that the best things in life are free. If you learn how to sweet talk girls; your compliments could go a long way. If you know how to make a girl feel appreciated, wanted and beautiful; this will certainly make her happy. It is the kind of happiness that no amount of money can actually buy. To save some of your money, you may want to attempt to use these sweet talking techniques.

HOW TO SWEET TALK TO A GIRL: THANK YOU

You may want to start by saying Thank You. Most girls want to feel appreciated, and your girl is definitely not an exception. So whether she helped you accomplished a major task or a simple one, saying Thank You would show how important she is to you and that you are grateful for her efforts.

HOW TO SWEET TALK A GIRL: YOU ARE SEXY

Another way to sweet talk a girl is to tell her that she is your ideal-looking woman. This may not be the first time she will hear such words of admiration, but it will make her feel sexy. This will boost her confidence and she will eventually become less inhibited.

HOW TO SWEET TALK A GIRL: YOU ARE UNIQUE

Sweet talking can get a little mushy too. When there is just the two of you talking, you can tell her that she is so unique and you have never met someone like her before. If she feels that you really meant what you said, then be prepared because she might turn too mushy. When tell her this thing, make sure that you seal your sentence with a sweet kiss.

HOW TO SWEET TALK A GIRL: I NEED YOUR OPINION

Sweet talk does not necessarily means throwing her compliments. Asking for her opinion and advice will make her feel that you care about what she thinks. You can ask her opinion about work or what kind of shirt to purchase. Ladies will surely love it when you desire not only their sexy bodies but their brilliant opinions too.

HOW TO SWEET TALK A GIRL: MY FAMILY ADORES YOU

Your girl would love to hear assuring words like your family would surely adore her. This will not only bring a big sweet smile on her face but make her feel more secured too. Once she learns that you tell your family good things about her, she will feel very flattered about it. Telling your woman you can't wait to introduce her to your family is definitely one of the sweetest things to say to your girlfriend.

HOW TO SWEET TALK A GIRL: YOU ARE GORGEOUS!

Sweet talking would involve telling her how beautiful and stunning she is. There is no girl in this planet who does not want to feel that she is gorgeous. Once she learns that in your eyes she looks very stunning; she might even allow you to gaze on some parts that she'd usually hide.

HOW TO SWEET TALK A GIRL: I LOVE THE WAY YOU

Sweet talk by telling her specific things that you love about her. You may want to prepare a list of these specific things and memorize them. Tell her about it in your most natural manner, do not enumerate these things to her as if you are reading straight from the list that you made. These personalized acknowledgments will make your girl feel loved by you. However, be extra cautious in using backhanded compliments because it may get you into trouble. For instance, do not tell her that before you met her, you date girls based on their looks but now it is based on how smart they are. Although you are telling her that she is smart, it also gives her the impression that she is not as good looking as your previous girls.

If you are out on a date with a girl you truly like, sometimes you end up putting your foot inside your mouth. It is simply because you are not aware on what to talk about with a girl and that would make your date a big failure. It does not require an innate skill to find the right things to talk about with a girl; it something that can be learned by any average Joe. Once you have mastered finding the perfect conversation topic, you may want to start learning how to sweet talk a girl as well.

The Perils Of Diversity

The Perils Of Diversity
One of my readers has written a book called The Perils of Diversity: Immigration and Human Nature (Washington Summit Publishers). Here is the presentation from Amazon:

Byron M. Roth argues that the current debate over immigration policy is unlikely to produce a satisfying outcome since it takes place uninformed by the science of evolutionary psychology. He thoroughly reviews theory and research indicating that the success of any policy of mass immigration will be profoundly constrained by fundamental features of human nature. Prominent among those features is a natural bias toward one's own kind and a certain wariness of others, making harmony in multi-ethnic societies problematic at best. The problems for such societies are compounded when groups differ in ability and temperament in non-trivial ways. The author explores the history of immigration to the United States prior to World War II and contrasts it with post-war immigration in the West. The evidence marshaled makes clear that the earlier immigration experience of the United States is so different from current patterns that it cannot provide a useful template for understanding and assessing those patterns. In addition, Roth addresses the disturbingly undemocratic nature of the regime of mass immigration imposed by authorities on the citizens of all western nations in defiance of their clearly expressed wishes. He shows that the chasm between elite views and public opinion is so deep that current policies can only be maintained by an increasingly totalitarian suppression of dissent that undermines the very foundations of western democracy.

It sounds like a something all Western political and religious leaders should read. While many people admit that racial and ethnic mixtures create "problems" very few consider the possibility that it is really against our nature, and that to force such a system on us is not only detrimental, but fatal.

Those interested can purchase the book at Amazon.
