Unfortunately a lot of guys date alike. They don't really ever feel like they are in control of the date and they certainly don't understand women. But you are more than just the average guy. You have the know-how, the confidence and the charisma to make a killer first impression on your date and ensure that she dying for a second opportunity to spend some time together.
LACKING COMPATIBILITY
One big dating mistake that guys are making over and over again when it comes to dating is that they aren't looking at how compatible they are with a girl. For example, you may have browsed an online dating website or perhaps just your Facebook friends list and seen a girl with an attractive profile picture.
You start talking to this girl and you aren't really clicking very well. Yes you may think she is smoking hot but you've also found that her personality and behavior is not what you are into. Nevertheless, you decide to ask her out on a date anyway.
Now in the initial stages of dating this is fine if you want to build up your experience with dating, but it is the entirely incorrect approach if you are looking for a loving and lasting partner. Don't ask her out on a first date if you think her personality is wrong for you - it is going to end in disaster.

Another piece of dating advice I want to bestow upon you is that you must not try and juggle loads of women at once. When you are dating, it is always encouraged to keep your options open and not wholeheartedly commit yourself to one girl too soon and this advice still stands. However, if you find a girl that you have really connected with and the two of you are very interested in each other then you have to give her exclusivity. You need to be more of a quality over quantity kind of guy.
The reason I say this is because you are going to completely blow any chance you have with this girl if you are still playing the field. By all means, keep the windows of opportunity open when you are still meeting new girls and experimenting with dating. However, once you have had the first date which has led to the second date and so on, you need to start thinking about focusing your efforts on her.
ENSURE THAT SHE IS WHAT YOU WANT
Think about what really attracts you in a girl and what you want in a girlfriend. This gives you a clear idea of the kind of girl you would want to date and helps you to qualify a girl against your preferences. Make sure you take interest in her during your first date and ask her some question about her interests, her life goals and other things that may be important to her and subsequently to you.
The more you can figure out about a girl on a first date then the more you can establish if she is the right one for you. This also saves you both a lot of time and prevents you from leading her on. However, ensure that you are not interrogating her by throwing an infinite amount of questions her way.
