Self Esteem Plays A Huge Role In Network Marketing Success
When it comes to self-esteem, there is really no way to fake it. You can "try" to have positive self-esteem, because then chances are very good that you will come off as arrogant or over-confident. While you don't need to have a college education or any special credentials to achieve network marketing success, you do need to be confident, and this is not something you can buy or learn in school.

Do You Have Low Self-esteem?

A lot of people do not realize they have low self-esteem,, until they really take the time to do a little self-evaluation. A few signs of low self-esteem include:

o Constantly criticizing and finding fault in your own actions.

o Accepting the blame of things that really are not your fault, but you believe they somehow are.

o Letting someone else make decisions for you.

o Playing the victim.

o Assuming you are responsible for the actions and lives of others.

o Constantly being negative.

o Boasting, lying or exaggerating to others to make yourself look good.

o Comparing yourself to others.

o Always dwelling on what could have been.

Why Self-esteem is Important?

When you have low self-esteem, you often feel uncomfortable and self-conscious in public and social situations. You may wonder if you are making a fool of yourself. Will you be rejected? Are people judging you?

You can't achieve network marketing success when these thoughts are constantly racing through your mind. How can you expect anyone to believe in you and either join your team or buy your product when you clearly do not believe in yourself?

Not only will other people pick up on your lack of self-confidence, you may miss out on a lot of golden opportunities, because you doubt yourself or wait too long to react. You need to believe in yourself so you radiate confidence. You need to always be prepared no matter where you are.

Practice Makes Perfect

As a child, you learn how important practice is. You can't excel at something and feel 100 percent confident of your presentation or performance if you don't practice. So, not only should you practice with real people every chance you get, you should practice talking and presenting your offer when you are alone, in front of the mirror. You can also record yourself and then play it back.

Keep in mind that you will make mistakes; everyone does. You need to be able to laugh at yourself, when you fumble over words, and learn from any poor decisions that you make.
